When you download SkyDrive on your PC or Mac, your desktop SkyDrive folder is automatically created. Any file or photo you put in this folder will be automatically synced to your other devices that have SkyDrive. To do this, download SkyDrive on all your computers. Click Run to start the installation, and then click Next to advance through the setup wizard. And of course you can still get to your files anytime from any computer by signing in to SkyDrive.com. |

Forgot to put something in your SkyDrive folder? No problem! As long as your PC that has the file is on and running SkyDrive, you can access any file you need—from anywhere. Here’s how:

You get 7 GB of free storage with SkyDrive—that’s enough for over 20,000 Office documents or 7,000 photos. For most people, this is plenty of space. But if 7 GB isn’t enough, you can add even more storage for a low yearly fee.
